Headquarters for Upper Wabash Interpretive Services (UWIS) programming for J.E. Roush Lake Fish and Wildlife Area, Mississinewa Lake, Ouabache State Park, Salamonie Lake and Salamonie River State Forest.

Winter Hours: Nov. 1 through March 31
Open 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday
Closed Tuesday
Summer Hours: April 1 through Oct. 31:
Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day

The UWIS provides interpretive programming for J.E. Roush Lake Fish and Wildlife Area, Mississinewa Lake, Ouabache State Park, and Salamonie Lake.

Salamonie Senior Luncheon, Monday, Feb. 3 The monthly Salamonie Senior Luncheon will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 3, at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend. UWIS interpretive naturalist Lynnanne Fager will share her personal experiences with Indiana bald eagles. The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon.
