Located in the heart of Wabash, Charley Creek Gardens is a non-profit horticulture center dedicated to the study, conservation, and appreciation of plants, both native and foreign, through garden displays, education, and research.

There is no admission fee to the Gardens which are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Call 260.563.1020 for further information.

The Charley Creek Gardens is owned and operated by The Honeywell Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to the enhancement of artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all.

You’ve seen the painted garden posts at craft shows and garden centers; come try your hand at creating a mini post for a potted plant. The Honeywell Foundation will provide a 12” long painted 1” square post, paints and markers and you bring your creativity! Spots are limited so reserve early!

Charley Creek Gardens: Lunch & Learn: Botanical Weaving

This Lunch and Learn Series features a botanical wall hanging. Twigs and yarn will be used to create a base for weaving dried stems, seed pods, grasses, ribbon and fabric. The finished piece will be approximately 12” x 12” and be perfect for fall décor!   Also check out our huge lists of parks/orchards and art/entertainment opportunities!
