Open to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekly run and get in a little training and social time. Free and for all ages and running levels. Please meet under the canopy of the Wabash County YMCA. Arrive by 7:45 AM with feet hitting the street at 8 AM sharp.

Each week there will be a run leader that will create the run route and help you reach your running goals. Each of the run leaders is an outdoor adventure enthusiast who likes to connect people with running in a fun and energetic environment.

Whether you are training for the Wabash – Run the River Half Marathon or just want to run for fun, these weekly runs are meant to bring people together over the love of running.

All participants will be given the opportunity to earn incentives for regular attendance. Attendance is tracked using the Band App. Weekly check-ins are required on the app in order to qualify for the incentive gifts.

The biggest benefit of joining a social-run club is the fact you’ll be training with others and building a community of friends. You’ll be held accountable for your exercise regimen by a group of fellow runners. A team atmosphere has been shown to push runners to a new level of performance.

When you run with your group you’ll also be privy to new information about running techniques, as well as new routes around town. This is especially helpful to newcomers who might not be certain if they’re training properly or wearing the right shoes.
