Empower your senses with an evening stroll at Mississinewa Lake.  Join Upper Wabash Interpretive Services’ staff for First Day Hike on January 1st at 4:30 pm.

Meet at the beach shelter house number 1 located within Miami SRA.  We’ll begin with a stroll to the Campground Pond, walk the Old Frances Slocum Trail (newly paved), and see the beach at winter levels.  We will walk approximately one mile, and an hour and half.  This would be  a great place to watch for eagles!

Dress for the weather.  Families and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.  Advance registration is requested by calling 260-468-2127.
