1. The Pumpkin Post

Located in North Manchester, the Pumpkin Post is a must visit! They are stocked with pumpkins (all sizes), decorative gourds, corn stalk bunches, straw bales, mums, XL patio mums, metal art, mini Pumpkins and Gourds, and 14 flavors of Amish Fried Pies (a favorite among many!) They also have a Pumpkin Pickin’ Patch with over 700 carving pumpkins that is open every weekend until October 31st! They also have a concession stand that has apple cider slushies, popcorn, The Igloo ice cream, and other snacks!

2. 50 East Garden Center & Cafe

If you haven’t visited 50 East yet, you’re truly missing out! The greenhouse and garden center features loads of fall decor, local items for sale, and a plethora of plants, flowers, and mums. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch with delicious food options and features a full coffee bar. Grab a latte and get your Fall shoppin’ on!

3. North Manchester Pumpkin Patch

Located at 832 N SR 15 North Manchester, IN

This smaller, locally-owned pumpkin patch is a must-stop on your way to or from North Manchester. With all sizes of pumpkins, exotic pumpkins, gourds, photo ops, and more, there is something for everyone here!

4. Visit 2 Apple Orchards

Doud’s Countyline Orchard: 7877 W 400 N Wabash, IN 46992

Doud’s Countyline Apple Orchard features the crowd favorite Honeycrisp apples, along with over 20 different varieties. They also offer unpasterized apple cider, apple butter, pears, and so much more!

Abbott’s Orchard is another Fall favorite stop located at 5873 E 300 N, Urbana, IN 46990. Get out and explore their beautiful, remote orchard! They sell many varieties of apples, apple cider, and apple butter.

5. Long Lake Pumpkin Patch Festival

Bring the whole family to Long Lake Resort’s Pumpkin Patch Festival for a day of fun! Free activities include a ninja warrior course, corn pit, tube slide, scarecrow station, outdoor games and playground, and musical pots and pan station. Ticket activities are also available and include a barrel train, hay ride, face painting, axe throwing, pontoon boat rides, a bouncy house, pumpkin painting kit, pony rides, and so much more! This is a Fall festival you don’t want to miss!
There will also be gem mining for $5/bag, food, snacks, and drink concessions, and Fall decor.

6. Wabash Cannonball Chili Cook-Off

You don’t want to miss the largest chili cook-off east of the Mississippi River happening Saturday, October 16th from noon to 3pm! With over 100 decorated chili booths for you to try, we recommend you come hungry. For just $5 per person, enjoy this action packed day, and don’t forget to vote for your favorites!
The best part? All proceeds benefit Wabash County charities.
