Oreiller by Amanda Gentry

The Gallery G presents the works of Chicago ceramic artist Amanda Gentry.  Her most recent body of work, titled "Oreiller"(French for pillow), is in response to an awareness of her desire to find comfort in a world that plays host to suffering.  Finding comfort in the repetition of motion, each of Gentry's ceramic installations are "made whole" by the coming together of multiple units.
